Infant Baptism

If you have a child that you would like to have baptized as Catholic and they are 0-6 years old, please fill out the Baptism Registration Form below and contact Kelsea Brown at (713) 529-4854, ext. 102.


Holy Matrimony

Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA)

Adults who are baptized Catholic and would like to be fully initiated in the Catholic faith are invited to join us for the preparation process of Confirmation for adults. Adults baptized Catholic who are also seeking to celebrate their First Holy Communion will be prepared through this process as well. Contact Lucas Nino for more information.


Order of Christian Initiation for Children

For students ages 7–17 who are unbaptized, baptized Catholic but uncatechized, or validly baptized in another Christian tradition.

Students will receive Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist at the Easter Vigil alongside adult catechumens.

Discernment of readiness includes student and parent participation in weekly classes, Sunday Mass, Breaking of the Word sessions, retreats, and several rites.

Parents and sponsors play an essential role in this preparation process.

Parents must inform both the school office and the catechist whenever their child will be absent.

A meeting with Sr. Theresa is required for registration.

Holy Eucharist

First Holy Communion: When a child reaches the age of 7, has at least two years of Faith Formation, and desires to participate in the preparation process please contact Sister Theresa Vu to register them for the First Reconciliation & First Eucharist sacrament preparation process.

Reconciliation (Confession)

“The Sacrament of Reconciliation with God brings about a true ‘spiritual resurrection,’ restoration of the dignity and blessings of the life of the children of God, of the most precious is friendship with God” (CCC 1438).

First Reconciliation is typically celebrated in January, with additional opportunities before First Holy Eucharist in May.

This is a foundational year for students; parental cooperation is crucial.

Parents must inform both the school office and the catechist whenever their child will be absent.

Older students will participate in regular classes and attend sacramental preparation sessions on the last Sunday of each month. Class attendance and retreat participation are essential for readiness.

Confirmation for Teens:

A two-year program starting in 9th grade and open to high school students.

Requires:

  • Requires: Weekly Sunday Mass attendance, regular class participation, 2 retreats, 2 service projects, and additional volunteer hours. 

  • Parents must inform both the school office and the catechist whenever their child will be absent.

  • Parents and sponsors are expected to be actively involved in the student’s formation.
