Required Sacramental Certificates
OCIC Students
Submit the following documents: Birth Certificate, Sponsor Form, Sponsor’s Baptismal, First Communion, and Confirmation Certificates by emailing them to Sister Theresa Vu at srtheresa@hrcchtx.org.

First Confession & Communion
Submit the following documents: Baptismal Certificate, Service Hour Log, and (optional) Pastor Permission Form from your home parish. All documents should be emailed to Sister Theresa Vu at srtheresa@hrcchtx.org.

Confirmation Year Two
Submit: Baptismal Certificate, First Communion Certificate, Pastor Permission Form from your home parish, Service Hour Log, Sponsor Form, your Sponsor’s Baptismal, First Communion, and Confirmation Certificates. All documents should be emailed to Sister Theresa Vu @ srtheresa@hrcchtx.org.

Important: All sacramental students and their parents are required to meet with Sr. Theresa as part of the registration process. To schedule an appointment, please email srtheresa@hrcchtx.org.
Faith Formation
We have classes from Pre-K to 12th grade:
Faith Formation Times
Morning Session: 9:30am-10:45am
Afternoon Session: 1:45pm-3:00pm
OCIC: Class 9:00am-10:50am, Mass & Breaking of the Word 11:00am-12:00pm
Vietnamese Language Classes: 12:15pm-1:15pm and
Recess: 1:15pm-1:40pm
All classes attend school every Sunday, participate in all school events, and follow the same break schedule throughout the year.

Deadline for 2025-2026 Registration Forms: July 4, 2025.

Absences
Email us when your child is sick so we can provide the missed work.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 1
Limited to the first twelve students with completed registration forms
OCIC Students
Submit Birth Certificate, Sponsor’s Form, and Sponsor’s Baptismal, First Communion, and Confirmation Certificates.
First Communion
Submit Baptismal Certificate, Service Log, and (optional) Home Parish Pastor’s Permission Form.
Older students preparing for First Communion will attend a Special Communion Class on the last Sunday of each month.
Confirmation 2
Submit Baptismal Certificate, First Communion Certificate, Home Parish Pastor’s Permission Form, Service Log, Sponsor’s Form, and Sponsor’s Baptismal, First Communion, and Confirmation Certificates.
Drop Off and Pick Up
Parents must drop off and pick up students inside the Faith Formation Building. Catechists must remain with students during class time. Altar Servers may leave class 5 minutes early and walk to the sacristy with a catechist or parent.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a learning model that strives to show the unique relationship between God and the child. Children need their own place to foster the growth of that relationship. The growth of this relationship is assisted by the adult, but is directed by the Spirit of God within the child. Interested in putting your child(ren) in this program? Faith Formation Tuition & Fees
Religious tuition and activities fees can be paid online by clicking the button below. Please note that this is ONLY for tuition costs and activity fees. Additional donations to our religious education program can be made on the Online Giving page. Click here and scroll down to the giving portal titled “Religious Education Donations.”
Below are the tuition costs, please specify what and who your payment is for in the memo.
Tuition and activity fees cover textbooks, catechist support, and student supplies. Additional fees for sacramental preparation classes will be communicated later in the year which cover retreats, field trips, and a reception following the Mass during which the Sacrament(s) is received.

Payment Policy
Fees are non-refundable. Monthly payments over 9 months are available with prior approval. Contact Sr. Theresa at srtheresa@hrcchtx.org for assistance.
